Guacamole was good. But this place is too noisy and overpriced. Don't think we will return.

We went to this restaurant based upon the recommendation of one of Beth's coworkers.

The place was very crowded when we arrive but we were immediately seated. It appears to be a family orientated restaurant much like Monterrey.

Our server was Melissa and she was delightful. We ordered cheese dip with jalapeños and it was pretty good. Chips were good and the thin kind that I enjoy. They were served with two kinds of salsa. We ordered the 34 oz top shelf margarita with an extra glass since they do not have half pitches. The margarita was pleasantly, surprisingly, good.

I ordered a "make your own" combo of a tamale and a chile relleno. The tamale was OK but the chile relleno was very large and quite good. I took about half of my meal home.

Beth ordered Carnitas which she reported as some of the best she has had. She also took about half her meal home.

Melissa added to our experience since she was always checking to see if things were OK. Once the crowd subsided she was even able to visit with us and that was pleasant since she was not intrusive. She asked if it was our first time there and we responded "yes". She then told us that all first time visitors get a surprise. The surprise turned out to be sopapillas. Beth usually does not go for desert but she really enjoyed this.

This is one of two locations for Chepe's the other is in Suwanee.

We will defiantly return to this location.

We went back on a Monday night. The place was packed and very noisy. The margarita's and food were as good as the first visit. However the noise level made this not a good experience. I asked our server Valeria when the noise level went down and she replied "midnight."

As with our first visit we were asked several times if everything was OK.

This is kind of a Hardee's fast food place. You place your order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table.

That said, we thought that the food was very good. It is a good thing that we had our Margarita's before we went to dinner since they do not serve alcohol.

There are any number of good reviews from local's who love this place. We would return if we were in the mood for good fast food.

Beer, wine & liquor served in the Bluffton restaurant.
Beer & wine served at the Hilton Head North End restaurant.
